Holiday Gift Program
Providing toys, clothes and gifts to underprivileged youth to bring hope and joy.
The Holiday Gift Program is a giving tree program hosted by businesses, corporations, and other organizations wanting to make a difference in the community. This program provides low income children from 0-12 years old, with toys, clothes and other gifts that make children feel special and help them experience the true joy and excitement of the holidays.
How it worksOnsite Program:
In November, participating Host sites receive gift tags provided by Communities That Care that have a specific child’s name, age, gender, size and most desired gift wish. The employees, patrons and members of your organization choose a tag, purchase a gift and return it to the Host Coordinator. Communities That Care collects the gifts in December for distribution to the children.
Virtual Program:
We provide a link to a Wish List with the children’s names and wishes that we upload online. Sponsors choose a child to buy for then shop online at any online site and have the gifts shipped directly to us at the time of purchase. Wish Lists are available the first week of November and gifts are due the first week of December.
These programs are great community builders for your organization and a great way to bring something positive to today’s world. Please join us in helping to make every child’s holiday wish come true!
